Ghosty Docs
Everything about your ghost swaps.
Swap across networks in a few clicks. No account, no custody: you send from your own wallet and receive in yours.
What is Ghosty
Ghosty swaps crypto between assets and networks: ETH on Ethereum to SOL on Solana, USDT on Tron to BTC, and hundreds of other pairs. You get a live quote, confirm it, send your funds from any wallet, and receive the new asset directly in your destination wallet.
- Non-custodial. Ghosty never holds your funds. Each order gets a one-time deposit address, and the swapped asset goes straight to the address you chose.
- No account. No sign-up, no email. Your orders are remembered in this browser.
- No wallet connection required. Connecting a wallet only fills your receiving address for you.
How a swap works
- Pick what you sell and what you buy. Choose a token and its network on each side, then type an amount.
- Read the live quote. It shows the rate, the fees in dollars and the estimated time. It refreshes on its own every minute.
- Set the recipient. Paste the address that should receive the funds, or use your connected wallet.
- Review and create the order. Check the exact amount to send and the full destination address, then confirm.
- Send your deposit. Send the exact amount, on the indicated network, to the one-time deposit address.
- Receive. The order page follows each step until the funds arrive in your wallet.
Creating an order moves nothing. Your funds only leave your wallet when you send the deposit yourself.
Ghost Swap or Private Swap
Private Swap routes your funds through a privacy network (Zcash or Monero) before the final swap. It reduces the link between the wallet that sends and the wallet that receives, which is why moving SOL to SOL privately makes sense.
Private routing improves discretion; it does not guarantee anonymity. What you do outside the swap, such as reusing addresses, still matters.
Sending your deposit
- The exact amount, in one transaction. Your wallet's own network fee comes on top.
- The indicated network only. USDT on Tron and USDT on Ethereum are different: sending on the wrong network can lose the funds.
- The memo or tag when the order shows one. Some networks (XRP, XLM, TON…) need it to credit your deposit.
- Before the deadline. The order page counts down; once the window closes, the Copy buttons turn off. Don't send to an expired order.
- Once. Each deposit address belongs to a single order.
Order statuses
Waiting for your funds on the deposit address.
Your deposit was seen and is getting network confirmations.
The swap is running. Private orders go through their privacy route here.
The new asset is on its way to your wallet, then the swap is complete.
If an order is not accepted, no deposit address was issued: there is nothing to send and no funds at risk. Edit the swap and try again, for example from another network. Expired, failed or refunded orders show their reason on the order page.
Fees
Every quote shows its fees before you confirm, in the token you receive and in dollars. They are already deducted from the amount you receive, so what you see is what you get, at the quoted rate.
- Exchange fee: the cost of the swap itself, including the Ghosty service fee of 0.2%.
- Network fee: the fee to send the new asset to your wallet on its network.
- Your wallet's fee: charged by your own wallet when you send the deposit, not by Ghosty.
Ghost Swap quotes follow the market until execution, so the final amount can move slightly.
Assets and networks
Hundreds of assets across more than 80 networks: Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Tron, Bitcoin and many more. The token picker lists what is available right now, with its network on every row.
A few networks are marked Limited: they work with Ghost Swap but not with Private Swap. When that happens, Ghosty offers a one-click switch to the same token on a supported network.
Safety and privacy
- We never ask for keys. No private key, seed phrase or signature, ever. Anyone asking is not Ghosty.
- Check the full address on the review screen before you create the order. Crypto transfers can't be reversed.
- What we keep: the order details (pair, amounts, addresses, status) so you can follow and recover your swap. A 30-day cookie links your orders to this browser.
- What we share: swap details with our exchange partner to quote and execute it, and your IP address when an order is created, as the partner requires. We don't store your IP.
FAQ
My order says “Swap not accepted”. Did I lose anything?
No. The order was refused before any deposit address existed, so nothing can have been sent. Edit the swap and try again; a different network often works.
How long does a swap take?
Ghost Swap usually completes about a minute after your deposit is confirmed. Private Swap takes 5 minutes or more. Confirmation time depends on the network you send from.
I sent a different amount than asked.
Deposits within about ±50% of the quoted amount are detected automatically, and the swap adjusts to what you actually sent. Outside that range, keep your order ID and contact Ghosty support.
I cleared my browser. Where are my orders?
Orders are linked to this browser. Keep the order ID shown on each order: it is what support needs to find your swap.
Do I need to connect a wallet?
No. You can send the deposit from any wallet or exchange, and paste any receiving address. Connecting a wallet only fills your address for you.
